A warm, hearty breakfast that combines wholesome oats and vibrant blueberries, perfect for busy mornings or leisurely brunches.

  • 1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for streusel topping)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for streusel topping)
  • 1/4 cup flour (for streusel topping)

Instructions

  1. Combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Fold in the blueberries gently until mixed evenly.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Mix brown sugar, butter, and flour in another bowl until crumbly for the streusel topping.
  5. Sprinkle the streusel mixture over the oat mixture.
  6. Cover the baking dish and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) in the morning and bake for 25โ€“30 minutes, until the top is golden and the center is set.
  8. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup or honey. This dish is also great as a breakfast-for-dinner option.
