- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Generously season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Whisk the egg until well blended in a shallow bowl. Mix together the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese in another bowl.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly covered.
