  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, maple syrup, applesauce, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and optional nuts, then sprinkle it generously on top.
