A quick and delicious stir fry featuring tender beef, crisp vegetables, and savory noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups assorted vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the sliced beef in a single layer. Sear for 3โ€“4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic and ginger to the pan and sautรฉ for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add assorted vegetables and stir-fry for 4โ€“5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return cooked beef to the pan, adding soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir well to coat.
  7. Toss in the cooked noodles, mixing everything and heating through for 1โ€“2 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water or soy sauce to prevent drying out.
