  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season: Mix salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub evenly over the chicken.
  3. Heat the Skillet: Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sear the Chicken: Place chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for 7-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Flip & Cook: Turn the chicken and cook for another 7-8 minutes. Cover and reduce heat, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Rest & Serve: Transfer to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
